Jessica Peterson and J.D. Wetzel were married Jan. 5 at the Angel at Rose Hall in Eureka Springs, Ark. The Rev. Glen Couvillion performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride, daughter of Bill and Connie Peterson of Licking, wore a long satin gown with lace and pearls covering the bodice. A long flowing train adorned with pearls and lace cascaded down the back. She carried a bouquet of white, silver- and blue-tipped white roses.
Angela Peterson, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a silver sweater with black slacks and carried a bouquet of three long-stemmed white, silver- and blue-tipped white roses.
The groom, son of Sam and Kelly Wetzel of Bucyrus, chose his father as best man.
A reception at the hall followed the ceremony. The tiered wedding cake was decorated in blue and white flowers and the topper from the cake for the bride’s parents 29 years earlier.
Background music was “You Had Me from Hello” by Kenny Chesney and “From This Moment” by Shania Twain.
After a honeymoon to Branson, the couple is making their home at Licking where the bride is employed at Hood’s Frosty Treat. The groom is employed by Hildreth Painting.
