The engagement of Scott Blakey and Ashley Jordan of Cape Girardeau is announced.
Jordan is the daughter of Christine Kahler of Cape Girardeau and Randy Jordan of Rogersville. She attended Houston High School and graduated in 2002 from Jackson High School. She received her bachelor’s degree in social work in May from Missouri State University. She works for Comprehensive Psychiatric and Counseling Services.
Blakey is the son of Marty and Jeanne Blakey of Ave. He graduated in 1999 from New Madrid County Central and works for Osborne Office Equipment.
An Aug. 16 wedding is planned at Cape Girardeau County Park.
