Community Bank N.A. announced a Houston man will act a branch manager and its assistant vice president when it opens this spring.
Dennis Wilson of Houston will fill the position, said David Barnett, chairman and president of Community Bank N.A., which announced plans last week to open a bank at North U.S. 63 and Brushy Creek Road.
Wilson began his banking career at Winona Savings Bank as a teller and was soon promoted to electronic data processing manager. He served as a member of a software advisory board for B & H Associates Banking Software Co., Jonesboro, Ark., and attended Missouri, Kansas and Nebraska Association Schools of Banking, as well as several other various training seminars.
For the last 20 years he was employed by Bancsource Inc., a banking equipment sales and service company. Wilson served as regional service manager for the company covering Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Eight years ago, having a background in banking operations and equipment including check processing machinery and software, as well as ATMs, he moved into a sales position with the same company and has served in that position to date. During his tenure with Bancsource, he earned several performance awards and acclaims for his dedication to customer service.
Dennis, his wife Debbie, and daughter, Sydney, have lived in the Houston area for 19 years and are active members at Ozark Baptist Church. He enjoys hunting and fishing and has accumulated more than 1,600 hours flight time as a pilot in command and is a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
Wilson said he looks forward to serving his community and developing banking relationships with local citizens, farmers, businessmen and community leaders.
