Larry and Debbie Lewis of Camdenton announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Kristin Leigh, to Aaron Thomas Bates, son of Brad and Julie Bates of Pryor, Okla.
Kristin is the granddaughter of Captola and Mablene Lewis, Mabel Steward and the late Lloyd Steward all of Plato, Mo. Aaron is the grandson of the late W.D. and Roma Bates of Pryor, Okla., Varcell “Corkey” Herrin and the late Nancy Herrin of Neosho, Mo.
Kristin graduated from Camdenton High School in 2002 and from Missouri State University in 2006 with a bachelor of science in nursing. She is currently employed by St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Mo.
Aaron is a 2002 Pryor, Oklahoma High School graduate and also graduated from Missouri State University in 2006 with a bachelor of science in computer information systems. He is employed as a customer service manager for HealthMEDX in Ozark, Mo.
The couple will be married April 25, 2009, in a small ceremony in Evening Shade, Mo., with a reception following in Springfield. After a honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean, the couple will reside in Springfield.
