The Houston Senior Center received a boost last week from Houston’s United Methodist Church. Nearly $500 was presented to help with the operations of the center, which is situated on Grand Avenue. Alice Wells, center, chair of the church’s mission committee, and Tom Tomlinson, pastor, make the presentation to Neva Wade, treasurer, at the senior center. Those wanting to assist financially can make a contribution at the center.
