Jim McCartney of Jerome and Elizabeth McCartney of Rolla announce the engagement and marriage of their daughter, Christine McCartney, to Christopher Palmer, both of Springfield. Palmer is the son of Les and Mary Palmer of Raymondville.
McCartney is a 2004 graduate of Dixon High School and a 2009 graduate of Missouri State University. Palmer is a 2001 graduate of Houston High School and a 2005 graduate of Missouri State University.
The wedding is Sept. 12 at Big Spring in Van Buren. The couple will reside in Springfield.
