The Texas County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s help to locate a Raymondville man facing statutory rape and sodomy charges.
James A. Smith, 36, is wanted on a warrant issued Friday following an investigation by the sheriff’s department. He faces two charges apiece of statutory rape and statutory sodomy. Bond is $750,000.
