Houston High School’s annual homecoming was held Friday with a parade, coronation of a new queen and the Tigers’ football game against Thayer.
The parade wrapped itself through the town beginning early Friday afternoon. The senior class won the float competition.
Thirty minutes prior to the football game, senior Danielle Pounds was crowned the 2009 queen by Kaitlyn Kell.
The Tigers dropped their matchup with state-ranked Thayer 47-27.
