Several Christmas activities are planned Saturday in Houston.
Here’s the list:
—A 1 p.m. Christmas movie at Phoenix Theatre on Highway B.
—At the Lone Star Plaza, a tree lighting is planned for 5 p.m., according to the Houston Area Chamber of Commerce. At 3 p.m. a ceremony is planned there, which features the reading of names of those in military service. A Fort Leonard Wood color guard will participate. FFA wagon rides are planned, and pictures with Santa also are available at JAZ Trophies, Awards and Gifts.
—Tours of homes are planned from 4 to 7 p.m. Tickets are available at Burch Insurance, D & L Florist and Neal’s Sporting Goods.
