Three persons were injured Tuesday night in a crash near Walnut Street and Oak Hill Drive.
Houston police said a vehicle driven by Patrick Hatton, 37, of Houston, crossed the centerline and struck head-on a vehicle occupied by Jon and Deanna Honig of Houston.
Hatton was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital with a head injury. He later was arrested for DWI and on a county warrant charging him with insufficent funds. The Honigs were to seek their own medical treatment on Wednesday.
Members of the Houston Fire Department and Texas County Rescue Squad also were called to the scene.
At about the same time, another minor wreck was reported on the south highway business district near Progressive Ozark Bank. An elderly man escaped injury.
