The Missouri Career Center in West Plains will team up with Drury University to offer a “career fair” from 1 to 5:30 p.m. May 10 at the Cabool campus.
Representatives of the center will be on hand to answer questions about the current job market and to assist with such areas as career exploration, resumes and job searches. The public is invited to attend the event, which will in the resource area of Drury’s Cabool campus at 801 Walnut Ave.
Missouri Career Centers are throughout Missouri, providing job seekers and businesses a “one-stop” center for their employment and training needs. The West Plains office provides services to residents of Ozark, Howell, Oregon, Shannon, Texas, Wright and Douglas counties. Services to job seekers include job search assistance and job matching through MissouriCareerSource.com; provision of labor market information; assessment, testing and case management for successful job placement; education and training assistance; job development; assistance with resume preparation and interviewing skills; referrals to partner agencies for supportive service needs.
