Houston officers handled a variety of calls during the last week.

A 13-year-old Houston boy who ran away in a family pickup early Monday was found in the Yukon area a few hours later, authorities said.

The boy left at about 2 a.m. in a Chevrolet 1500 truck, which was later found disabled. The child was found later in a barn’s hayloft on Emmett Kelly Road east of Houston. He was transported to a juvenile detention center.

In other matters, police:

-Cited Megan L. Neal, 27, for discharging fireworks within the city limits on July 4.

-Charged Dianna M. Bennett, 46, of Raymondville, on July 3, with failing to drive on the right half of the roadway and DWI.

-Arrested Trisha A. Clayton, 24, of 109 Third St., on a Wright County warrant charging her with larceny (failure to return leased or rented property). She was unable to post bond on June 30.

-Charged Robert D. Keller, 27, of 112 W. Spruce St., Apt. 6, with failure to register a motor vehicle by having plates of another vehicle on June 28.
