The Texas County Sheriff’s Department made four arrests last week for the production of marijuana.
Ronald J. Ahrens of Licking was charged with manufacturing a controlled substance after authorities discovered an indoor marijuana grow inside his home, said Lt. Melissa Dunn. Ahren was taken to the Texas County Jail. His bond is $300,000.
Two Houston residents — Chad F. Yates, 27, and Adam Bridges, 34 — were arrested after 24 marijuana plants were found outside a residence on Arthur Road. Bond was set at $400,000.
Dunn said two other subjects who live near Huggins on Highway M have been identified as being involved in growing marijuana. Charges have been forwarded to the prosecuting attorney for review, Dunn said.
