Jennifer McNiell and Robert Byrd were married June 4 at First Baptist Church in Houston. The Rev. Joe McCullough performed the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Jim and Wilda McNiell of Houston and Ray and Betty Byrd of Warsaw.
Matron of honor was Brittney McNiell, sister-in-law of the bride, of Houston. Bridesmaids were Lyndsay Holland of West Plains; Brandi Hamm of Cape Girardeau; Pam Dannenmueller of Scott City; Kim Burger of New Hamburg; Amy Moore of St. Louis; and Chris Jackson, sister of the groom, of Raymore.
Best man was Ted Seiler of Macon. Groomsmen were Keith Birmingham of Hayti; Tim Kavan of East Prairie; Travis Guerrant of Addison, Ill.; Jimmy Jackson, brother-in law of the groom, of Raymore; Kevin Byrd, brother of the groom, of Eldon; and Jeff McNiell, brother of the bride, of Houston.
Flower girl was Gracyn McNiell, niece of the bride, of Houston. Ring bearer was Dawson Byrd, nephew of the groom, of Eldon.
Pianist was Karen Parker, friend of the bride, of Raymondville. Ushers were Rawly Gorman of Licking and Russel Hinnah of Farmington, friends of the groom.
The bride is a former third grade teacher and assistant girls’ basketball and softball coach at Houston Schools. The groom is the district supervisor with USDA-Wildlife Services in Columbia, S.C.
The couple resides in Lexington, S.C.
