Eulah Louise Butner, 85, died Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011, at Texas County Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 31, 1926, in Ft. Leonard Wood, daughter of Charles and Vestie Wagoner Wade.
She was a beautician for 65 years, beginning in St. Louis and then opening her own shop in Licking. She was a member of Licking United Methodist Church and was active at the Licking Bridge Builders.
She enjoyed being around her friends, bowling, dancing, playing cards, fishing and the outdoors.
She was preceded in death by a husband, Oliver “Ollie” Matlock.
Survivors her husband, Carl Butner of the home; five children Jerry Crismon of Belleville, Ill., Jeannie Crismon of Linn, Oliver Matlock, Dale Matlock and Oliva Matlock; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a great-great grandson; seven siblings, Dorothy “Dot” Price, Florene Cassidy, Art Wade, Richard Wade, Paul Wade, Sue Crews and Dean Wade; and numerous other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Services were Sunday, Aug. 14, at Licking United Methodist Church with Pastor Robb Webster officiating. Burial was in Licking Cemetery under direction of Fox Funeral Home.
