Jimmie Ray Walker, 63, died Sunday, June 9, 2013, at Licking Park Manor following a long illness.
He was born July 6, 1949, son of Jessie and Ruby Shepherd Walker.
He served in both the Navy and Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post 559 and the VFW Post 6337.
He worked 20 years at Rawlings Sporting Goods while also working in the timber industry.
He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, George Walker and Johnnie Walker.
Survivors include his mother, Ruby Walker, of the home; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services were Tuesday, June 11, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Gorman officiating. Burial with full military honors was in Craddock Cemetery.
