A Licking woman was seriously injured Wednesday night when she was ejected from her vehicle.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Jettie H. Venker, 44, was traveling southbound on Highway AF 11 miles northwest of her hometown when the 9:40 p.m. accident occurred. The patrol said Venker’s 2000 Ford Explorer ran off the right side of the roadway, overturned and struck a tree.
Tpr. Myron Downing said Venker, who wasn’t wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the vehicle. She was flown to Cox Medical Center.
Downing was assisted by Cpl. Curtis Haden.
