Chester and Violet Herndon of Houston will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary. They were married Oct. 7, 1950, in Mountain Home, Ark.
They have five children, Royce Herndon of Columbia; Judy McClain of Syracuse; Mark Herndon of Rolla; Brent Herndon of St. James; and Melissa Fockler of Houston; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
