A Houston woman who paraded naked in her neighbor earlier this summer is in trouble with the law again.

Alisha R. Cook, 35, of 821 Dooley St. in Houston, was arrested July 29 for having an active Texas County warrant for resisting arrest, property damage and peace disturbance from the earlier incident.

An officer who was aware of the warrant arrested Cook after observing her sitting on the front steps of her residence. The officer reported that during the arrest, Cook resisted and threw a bowl of food at the officer. After apprehending Cook and placing her in the patrol vehicle, the officer walked back to the driver’s side and heard a loud “pop.” When he got into the car he observed that the windshield on the passenger’s side was broken that previously had no damage.

The officer also reported that upon arrival at the jail, Cook became uncooperative and unruly and while he and a jailer tried to control her, she kicked him with her heel.

A probable cause statement was sent to the county prosecutor seeking additional charges against Cook of third-degree assault of a law officer, second-degree property damage and resisting arrest.

On Aug. 8, she entered a guilty plea on the earlier charge of resisting arrest and property damage. She was sentenced to two consecutive jail terms — each which had a 30-day shock term attached with two years of probation. She also is to complete an anger management class.
