Items stolen from Texas County cemeteries during a recent crime spree await identification Wednesday at the Justice Center in Houston.

Members of the public who had items stolen during a recent spree of cemetery thefts identified them Wednesday for eventual retrieval.

Sheriff James Sigman said people who had things swiped from plots are came to to the Texas County Justice Center from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. 

Two people were arrested July 28 and face felony stealing charges in the thefts: William T. Hebert, 30, of 611 Hawthorne Street in Houston, and Felicia Batchelor, 29, of 21931 Scenic Road, in Summersville. The pair allegedly swiped as many as 30 concrete angels from various cemeteries, as well as several concrete benches, plant containers and other decorative items.
