An Elk Creek boy was injured at about 7:15 p.m. Dec. 1 in an accident north of Cabool, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

A teenager was injured Thursday morning when her vehicle ran off the roadway and came to a rest near a county bridge.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Kaitee J. Wheeler, 16, of Rogersville, was traveling southbound on Highway 137 north of Willow Springs when her vehicle ran off the roadway, traveled through a fence and struck a sign. It stopped before the Pine Creek Bridge.

Wheeler, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains with minor injuries. Her 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix had minor injuries.
