The following accidents were reported by the Missouri State Highway Patrol:

• Wayne H. Edwards, 41, of Licking, was injured Saturday morning when his northbound vehicle ran off Highway C to avoid another vehicle and overturned. Edwards, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken with moderate injuries to Texas County Memorial Hospital.

The crash was about three miles north of Licking. Edwards’ 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee had moderate damage.

• Alexis E. Dixon, 18, of Houston, was injured last Monday night when her vehicle struck a deer on Brushy Creek Road. She was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. She was not wearing her seat belt.

The patrol said the 6 p.m. accident was two miles east of Houston. The 2010 Nissan Altima that Dixon was driving had moderate damage.

• Three people were injured last Wednesday night in a two-vehicle crash north of Licking. Cpl. Curtis Haden said a northbound 1995 International driven by Clyde A. Backues, 52, of Licking, was turning right into a private driveway when a northbound 1996 Chevrolet pickup operated by Patrick S. Wadley, 36, of Laquey, attempted to overtake it and struck it in the rear.

Wadley and two passengers, Dominique M. Wadley, 14, of Laquey, and Frank W. Fox, 32, of St. Robert, were taken by ambulance with minor injuries to Texas County Memorial Hospital. Everyone was wearing a seat belt, Haden said.

The truck had been pulling a trailer, which was demolished. The pickup was totaled. Members of the Licking Fire Department assisted with removing debris and directing traffic.
