Houston High School sophomore Charlee Sue Jadwin held an appreciation dinner Dec. 19 at the Texas County Justice Center for local law enforcement officers and their families. About 70 people attended, including Rep. Robert Ross, Capt. Mark Inman of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Texas County Sheriff James Sigman and Houston Police Chief Tim Ceplina. The event was part of a Family, Career and Community Leaders competition. Jadwin is the president of the club.
