A crash early Monday just west of Houston injured a Licking teenager, authorities said. 

Two persons were injured Friday night in a crash south of Licking, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said. 

Sgt. George Falterman said a southbound 2006 Cadillac driven by Charlotte Metz, 62, of Dixon, turned into the path of a northbound 2008 Nissan Titan operated by Lacresia A. Foster, 60, of Beulah. 

Foster, who was wearing a seatbelt, had moderate injuries and was taken by private vehicle to Texas County Memorial Hospital. Metz, who wearing a seatbelt, had minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to TCMH.

Both vehicles were totaled, Falterman said. 

The 6:54 p.m. wreck occurred two miles south of Licking on U.S. 63. Assisting were Tpr. Jacob Sellars and Tpr. Curtis Hubbs, as well as the Licking Fire Department.
