Judith Gwendolyn Lay, 74, passed away Monday, Oct. 9, 2017, in Las Vegas, Nev.

She was born Feb. 19, 1943, in Salem.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Willie Fox; a brother, David Lay; and a son, Darryl James.

Funeral services were Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Mountain Grove. Pallbearers were Shawn Brown, J.J. McCleary, Matt Brown, John Roach, Patrick Brown, Justin Brown, Nathan Ellison, Cory Clark and Nick Socha. Honorary pallbearers: Coulter Brown, T.J. Brown, Bryson Clark and Collin Roach. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home, Mountain Grove.
