HHS loses pair of road matches last week

The Houston volleyball team lost a pair of road matches this week.

Last Thursday, the Lady Tigers were defeated 25-19, 25-11 at Skyline. Two nights earlier, they lost in straight sets at West Plains.

Brooke McCown had five kills and Kennedy Campbell and Tara Stanton had four apiece at Skyline. Janae Huff had eight assists.

Melody Buse led Houston (3-21) with 24 digs. Sevanna Rowland added 13.

Last Tuesday, McCown had three kills to lead HHS in its loss at West Plains. Alexis Choate handed out eight assists.

Buse had 14 digs.

“We still have a chance to win three or four of our last games,” Lady Tigers coach Loran Richardson said. “Hopefully we can be confident in our ability to do that.”
