Houston police officers recently handled several investigations. 

The following are excerpts from reports generated by the Houston Police Department:

•Ruth A. Weatherston, 57, of 506 Phelps St. in Houston, was cited for parking in a no parking zone on Sept. 25.

•Joshua K. Costa II, 18, of 15516 Oak Dale Road at Cabool, was issued a citation for driving without a valid license on Sept. 11.

•Willie G. Day, 35, of 18918 Bearclaw Road at Eunice, was cited for driving while revoked on Sept. 9.

•Jasper D. Robbins, 29, of 22 E. Highway 32 at Licking, was issued citations for driving while suspended and no insurance on Sept. 9.

•Teresa D. Mendenhall, 33, of 861 Hayes Drive in Houston, was cited for driving while suspended on Sept. 26.

•Illusion T. Walker, 19, of 214 S. Main St. in Houston, was issued a citation for minor in possession of alcohol by consumption on Oct. 1.

An officer cited Walker after responding at about 6:10 a.m. to a report of a suspicious vehicle at the Brushy Creek Trail entrance. Upon arrival, the officer observed a blue and black pickup parked with three males asleep inside. Alcohol was smelled and Walker was cited after an investigation.

•Jordan L. Dorman, 19, of 16188 Horseshoe Drive in Houston, was cited for stealing under $750 after allegedly swiping a white camouflage bow from a car parked at a Second Street residence at about 2 a.m. Sept. 12. After an officer’s investigation, Dorman was also cited for minor in possession of alcohol by consumption.

•Bobbie M. Crawford, 36, of 108 Cedar St. in Houston, was arrested Sept. 26 for having an active Texas County warrant for first-degree burglary and abuse or neglect of a child. An officer who knew of the warrant made the arrest at Crawford’s home. She was taken to the Texas County Jail where she was unable to post $350,000 bond.

•John S.W. Richards, 38, of 113 Sugar Maple Drive in Houston, was arrested Sept. 30 for having an Texas County warrant for a controlled substance offense.

An officer who was aware of the warrant made the arrest at a local restaurant. Richards was taken to jail and held without bond.

•Megan L. Neal, 34, of 210 W. Steffens St. in Houston, was arrested Sept. 7 for having an active parole violation warrant.

An officer made the arrest after being dispatched to a Steffens Street residence at about 7 p.m. regarding a report of a suspicious person. The officer made contact with Neal at the location, and a computer check revealed the warrant. She was taken to the Texas County jail.

•Danile K. Labbee, 33, of 713 W. Chestnut St. in Houston, was issued a citation for public peace disturbance after an incident Sept. 24 at McDonald’s.

•Erica S. Woolsey, 25, of 18726 Robertson Drive at Licking, was cited for stealing after allegedly shoplifting at Walmart on Sept. 17.
