A Licking man — who had multiple felony warrants — was arrested Wednesday Nov. 8.

A wanted man from Licking who led an officer on a chase early Tuesday evening was arrested Wednesday by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The patrol said Dominick P. Hunter, 18, led a county deputy on a chase before it was discontinued after the suspect nearly hit two people in the Licking area.

At 1:30 a.m., Hunter was arrested on numerous charges and taken to the Texas County Jail: Felony resisting arrest by fleeing, driving while suspended, speeding (100 miles per hour), failure to display plate, failed to stop for light twice, failure to signal when turning left or right, careless and imprudent driving and multiple felony warrants.
