A woman from Licking was injured Monday, Sept. 10,  in an accident in southern Phelps County.

A pedestrian sustained injuries Thursday morning when she was struck by a vehicle near Licking. 

Authorities said Elizabeth Edmonds, 29, stepped into the path of a northbound 2005 Hyundai Elantra operated by Angel M. Rodabaugh, 26, of Salem. The accident occurred on Highway 137 south of Licking. 

Edmonds, who had moderate injuries, was taken by ambulance to Phelps County Regional Medical Center at Rolla. 

Investigating were Cpl. Terry Nelson and Tpr. Jacob Sellars of the state patrol and the Licking Police Department.
