Mrs. Jim Cole fills a kettle with water at her kitchen sink, a routine task performed daily by housewives. But Mrs. Cole hadn't been doing this long. Not until Oak Hill Public Water Supply District went into operation did she enjoy the convenience of water piped into the house. Before becoming a water district customer, the Cole's water source was a cistern. An official okay to sell water was received the previous week from the Missouri Health Department and the district announced it would start selling water to about 150 patrons on Feb. 1.
