POLICE

The following are excerpts from reports generated by the Houston Police Department:

• Jesse L. Houston, 30, of P.O. Box 254 in Houston, and William J. Keller, 29, of 5256 Hubbard St. in Houston, were each issued citations for peace disturbance after allegedly fighting at the Corner Express Shell station on U.S. 63 about 11:30 p.m. Jan. 1.

• An officer was dispatched at about 4:10 p.m. Jan. 3 regarding a report of a vehicle parked an unoccupied on Sycamore Street.

The officer determined the maroon 2010 Ford Escape belonged to a Mountain Grove man and was listed as stolen. It was towed to a local lot.

• Carol M. Dicarro, 54, of 424 S. King St. in Houston, was arrested Dec. 28 at her residence for having an active City of Houston warrant for failure to appear on an assault charge.

While two officers were waiting for her to put clothing on to leave her house, Dicarro reportedly became verbally aggressive toward the officers and attempted to get away by slamming a door in an officer’s face.

As an officer attempted to put handcuffs on Dicarro, she reportedly pulled away several times after being advised not to resist. Upon arrival at the Texas County Jail, she was place in the rubber room for being combative and issued a citation for resisting arrest.

• An officer on Dec. 3 investigated a report of burglary at a Chestnut Street residence.

A 58-year-old woman who lives there told the officer that numerous items with a total value of $3,440 had been stolen.

After an investigation, three Houston men (ages 36, 33 and 22) were identified as suspects. A probable cause statement was sent to the county prosecutor seeking charges against the men.

• Lloyd R. Hill, 59, of 11998 Highway 38 at Cabool, was arrested Dec. 28 for having an active Texas County warrant for stealing – fourth or subsequent offense within 10 years. An officer made the arrest after conducting a traffic stop at the Corner Express Gas Station on U.S. 63 and discovering that the driver had a warrant.

Hill was taken to the Texas County Jail where he was unable to post $500,000 bond.
