The Tri-County Veterans Association will sponsor a veterans parade Nov. 2 in Mountain Grove.
Veterans and active duty personnel are invited. The lineup is at 1:45 p.m. at the elementary school on East Ninth Street. All veterans are requested to be on floats at 1:45 p.m. The parade starts at 2 p.m. The 399th Army Marching Band will participate. Grand marshals are veterans of Desert Storm, Iraq and Afghanistan. The Mountain Grove High School Band, along with other military vehicles, will be in the parade. For the fourth year, Nathan Roth and family of Ed’s Towing will serve food following the parade. Veterans, police, firemen and participants are invited to Alumni Park on Wall Street for the meal.
There will be floats from each branch of the service. Veterans can park at the YMCA. The parade ends at the YMCA parking lot.
