Glenna Heiney, 59, daughter of Walter Thurman and Alma Blanche Shoults Brim, was born Dec. 4, 1941, at Summersville. She died Jan. 27, 2001, at her home in West Plains. She attended school at Black Valley, O’Fallon and Summersville High School. She married Joe Dean Heiney Dec. 12, 1959, at Hartshorn. Mrs. Heiney was a cook at Summersville Elementary and Houston High School. For 15 years, she was a seamstress and made alterations and wedding dresses. She loved to quilt and was a painter of landscapes and wildlife. She was a member of the Amy Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Herman Brim; amd one sister, Beulah Schnetzler. Surviving are her husband of the home; four children, Danny Heiney, Tammy Keating and Rita Drumright of West Plains and Linda Reid of Peace Valley; one brother, Wayne Brim of Jackson; one sister, Beulah Swiney of Willard; and seven grandchildren. Services were Jan. 30 at the Rose Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home at West Plains. Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery at Hartshorn.
