Edna Pauline Rust Coats, 85, daughter of John and Daisy Rust, was born Aug. 6, 1916, at Cabool. She died July 31, 2002, at her home at Bado. Mrs. Coats was a homemaker and enjoyed working in her flowers and vegetable gardens, traveling, learning new things, cooking, crocheting and fishing. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Dan Coats; a son, John Coats; four brothers and three sisters. Surviving are her children, Pauline Wall of Cabool and Margie Reiner of Mountain View; six grandchildren and seven great-grand-children. Services were Aug. 3 at the Elliott-Gentry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Vandivort officiating. Burial was in the Bado Cemetery. “
