Frieda M. Reaves, 88, daughter of George Kessler and Bertha M Fehrenbacher Kessler, was born Sept. 10, 1914, at Licking. She died Oct. 17, 2002, at Clay County Hospital in Flora, Ill. She married Nova E. Reaves Dec. 22, 1934, at Houston. Mrs. Reaves was a housewife and enjoyed her family, quilting, flowers and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers and one sister. Surviving are her husband of Louisville, Ill.; two sons, Bruce Reaves and Brice Reaves of Elkville, Ill; three sisters, Helen Stewart of Canyon City, Colo., Lena Dawkins of Louisville, Ill., and Mary Frank of Flora, Ill.; and three grandchildren. Services were Oct. 21 at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church at Flora, Ill., with Msgr. Hyacinth Mazuchowski officiating. Burial was in St. Stephen’s Cemetery at Flora under the direction of Frank & Bright Funeral home of Flora, Ill. “
