Travis Wayne Cameron, 29, son of Dennis Cameron and Lu Adams, was born Sept. 3, 1973, at St. Joseph. He died Oct. 12, 2002, at St. Joseph Hospital at St. Joseph. He was a graduate of Cabool High School and worked in asphalt construction. He enjoyed playing the guitar, skateboarding and doing things for his grandparents and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Evelyn Thomas. Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Lu and Louie Adams of Cabool; his father of St. Joseph; son, Edward Kent Cameron; his finance, Amanda Benight of St. Joseph; stepsisters, Michaelle Adams Lee of Raymondville and Toby Adams Aldridge of Cabool; stepbrother, Dean Adams of St. Charles; grandparents, Wayne and Ora Cameron of St. Joseph. Services were Oct. 14 at the Gladden-Stamey Chapel in St. Joseph and Oct. 15 at the Mt. Pisgah Free Will Baptist Church near Cabool with the Rev. Daris Alvis officiating. Burial was in the Schafer Cemetery at Licking under the direction of Elliott-Gentry Funeral Home of Cabool. “
