Dorothy E. Goebel, 74, daughter of Everett and Leila Cox Stagner, was born Aug. 19, 1928, in Dent County. She died Dec. 26, 2002. She married Howard E. Goebel Jan. 1, 1966. Mrs. Goebel was a member of the Licking Christian Church and loved hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, James J. Hayes and Howard E. Goebel; four brothers, Delbert Stagner, Joe Stagner, Pete Stagner and Gilbert Stagner; and two sisters, Alta Stagner and Mabel Cassidy. Surviving are her daughter, Janice Hayes Moloney of Licking; step-daughters, Frances Hargis of St. Roberts and Sharon Wilson of Waynesville; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Services were Dec. 29 at the Licking Christian Church with Rick Mosher officiating. Burial was in the Licking Cemetery under the direction of Fox Funeral Home. “
