Regina Gaye Kessler, 32, daughter of Samuel and Sandra Boswell Kessler, was born June 16, 1971, in Indiana. She died Feb. 12, 2004, at Houston House. She enjoyed playing bingo, coloring in her coloring books, putting together puzzles, crocheting and listening to her favorite country music singers, Garth Brooks and Allen Jackson. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Carol Brown. Surviving are two brothers and a sister in Iowa; her foster mother for the last 24 years, Eveda Calton of Houston; and a foster sister, Elsie Williams of Houston. Graveside services were Feb. 14 at the Pine Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Wesley Wallace officiating under the direction of Evans Funeral Home. “
