Cleo Lesley Moss, 97, son of George and Mable Pendergrass Moss, was born July 14, 1906, at Alfalfa, Okla. He died March 3, 2004, at Houston. He married Dorothy Jane Giles Dec. 23, 1929. She preceded him in death Feb. 23, 1994. Mr. Moss led the singing at Pleasant View Baptist Church for many years. He enjoyed going to the co-op, visiting and gospel singing. He was a member of the Alfalfa Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, Charles Moss; one daughter, Cletha Jane Swenson; three brothers and one sister. Surviving are two grandchildren including Rick Walker of Houston and five great-grandchildren. Services were at the Alfalfa Baptist Church with burial in the Alfalfa Cemetery under the direction of Pither-Hackney Funeral Home of Carnegie, Okla. “
