Lois Ermal Cochran, 83, daughter of James Luther and Avo Isabelle Willhite Ellis, was born April 4, 1921, at Kinderpost. She died Nov. 12, 2004.Mrs. Cochran was an active member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She worked for the American Red Cross in St. Louis and Fort Leonard Wood for 20 years, retiring in 1983.She loved to cook and bake for family and friends. She enjoyed playing games and cards at the Rolla Senior Center.After moving to the Dayton, Ohio, area in 2002, she participated in the Fairborn, Ohio, senior citizens card games.She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Marvin R. Cochran.Surviving are her daughter, Carol Ann Cochran Waskiewicz of Riverside, Ohio; stepdaughter, Lois Cochran Keeney of St. Louis; stepson, Dale Cochran of Raymondville; sisters, Mildred Stone of Fresno, Calif., and Edith Atkisson of Licking; and three grandchildren.Services are 10 o’clock Friday at the Rolla Chapel of the James and Gahr Mortuary with Pastor Mike Collins officiating. Burial will be in the Licking Cemetery.Visitation is 2 to 8 today (Thursday) evening. “
