Marie Ellen Wichmann Sroaf, 82, daughter of Emil J. and Fannie M. Chambers Wichmann, was born May 25, 1922, in St. Louis. She died Nov. 3, 2004, after a long-term illness.She married Earl Edwin Sroaf March 22, 1952. They had one son.Mrs. Sroaf spent most of her life in St. Louis, where she worked in nursing facilities caring for the elderly.She was preceded in death by her husband; infant son, parents and twin infant brothers.Surviving are a sister, Myrtle L. Riley of Licking; nieces and great-nieces and nephews.A memorial service is 1 o’clock Saturday at the Fox Funeral Home Chapel in Licking with the Rev. Wesley Wallace officiating. Burial will be in the Hutchason Cemetery. “
