Betty D. Dixon Hope, 72, daughter of Joe and Pearl Mitchell Dixon, was born Aug. 20, 1932, at Licking. She died Jan. 7, 2005, at Rolla Park Manor in Rolla.She lived in the Tampa, Fla., area before moving back to Licking.She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Dixon.Surviving are her stepsons, Jack Brueggemann of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Don Brueggemann of Sequin, Texas; siblings, Laymon Dixon and Norma LaVigne of Licking, Junior Dixon of Houston and Helen Roseta of New Haven; two step-grandchildren; and extended family, Wayne and Dianna Williams, Tanya Foster, Matthew Williams and D.J. Foster of Brandon, Fla; and extended family, Chad Birch, Laura Neal and Melitta Powell.Services were Jan. 11 at the Fox Funeral Home Chapel in Licking with Larry Tubbs officiating. Burial was in the Williams Cemetery near Licking. “
