Charles Robert Powell, 63, son of Donald Powell and Golda Willis Powell Groves, was born Dec. 22, 1941, at Sapulpa, Okla. He died March 15, 2005, at his home at Success.Mr. Powell served in the U.S. Air Force and worked at sawmills and wood cutting.Surviving are his wife, Lanorrah of the home; one son, Bobby Lee Powell; two daughters, Delores Rucker of Tennessee and Diane Johnson of Wisconsin; his mother of Plato; two brothers, Gary Powell of Plato and Marvin Powell of Springfield; and one sister, Norma Sue Powell of Oregon.The body was cremated under the direction of Evans Funeral Home. Services are planned at a later date. “
