Laura Ellen Karr, 46, daughter of Richard Roy Lotz and Jeane Nelson Lotz, was born March 8, 1959, at Champagne, Ill. She died April 4, 2005.She married Rodger Karr June 5, 1997.Mrs. Karr was a member of Praise and Worship Church at Summersville. She was a homemaker and care giver. She loved the outdoors and her animals. She had recently been accepted to nursing school.She was preceded in death by her mother.Surviving are her husband of Summersville; her children, Danny Wayne Kreider and Stephanie Brightwell of St. Louis and Donovan Karr and Sheila Yearwood of Summersville; her father of St. Louis; brother, Stephen Lotz of St. Louis; sister, Carolyn Patterson of Summersville; half sister, Jennifer Lynn Lotz of St. Louis; and two grandsons.Services were April 7 at the Bradford Funeral Home Chapel in Summersville with the Rev. Phil Jester officiating. Burial was in the Summers Cemetery near Eminence. “
