Lela Marie Bishop Fritz, 78, was born Sept. 15, 1926. She died April 5, 2005, at her home at Licking.She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Ovlan Fritz; an infant daughter, Deborah; and a sister, Jeanette Kappleman.Surviving are four children, Audrey Stacey of Licking, Dane Fritz and James Fritz of Grandbury, Texas, and Ovlan Fritz Jr. of San Jose, Calif.; four sisters, Otelia Still of Kinsport, Tenn., Edith Vaughn of Duffield, Va., Lillian Legg of Big Stone Gap, Va., and Loretta Galotta of Fremont, Calif.; two brothers, Dane Bishop of Titusville, Fla., and James Bishop of McPherson, Kan.; 24 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren.Services were April 11 at Duffield Funeral Home in Duffield, Va. Burial was in the Bishop family cemetery at Duffield, Va. Local arrangements were under the direction of Fox Funeral Home of Licking. “
