Opal Marie Dandridge, 82, daughter of Daniel and Nora Burks, was born Sept. 27, 1923, at Dallas Center, Iowa. She died Dec. 31, 2005, at her home.She married Harold “”Danny”” Dandridge Aug. 7, 1942. They had one son.Mrs. Dandridge was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and only sister.Surviving are her son, Harold “”Hal”” Dandridge of Plato; special nephew, Donnie Burks of Mountain View; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.Services were Jan. 4 with burial in the Greenlawn Cemetery at Mountain View under the direction of Duncan Funeral Home. “
