The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks will host a blood drive from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Friday, March 16, in the downstairs meeting room at Texas County Memorial Hospital.

Blood collected by CBCO stays in the area to be utilized by Ozark communities, neighbors and families. TCMH receives 100 percent of its blood supply from CBCO.

Eligible donors are anyone 17 years old or older who weighs at least 110 pounds and have not given blood in the last 56 days. Donors must provide identification when registering to give.

For more information about the blood drive, contact Libby Waterson, education director at TCMH, at 417-967-1340 or 866-967-3311, ext. 340. For questions regarding donor eligibility, contact the CBCO at 800-280-5337.
