The U.S. 63 and Business 60 intersection in Cabool reopened last week to traffic, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
The intersection was closed 11 days for intersection improvements that have been under way since early March. The anticipated completion of the project, which also includes two bridges north of Cabool, is August.
The nearly $2.2 million project, under the direction of Gaines Construction of Wentzville, includes resurfacing, shouldering and intersection improvements. The project length is 3.4 miles beginning at U.S. 60 and continuing north to Highway U.
Motorists are urged to exercise caution and observe all traffic control signs in this area during construction. The resident engineer’s office in Willow Springs will be in direct charge of this project.
