The 56th annual Raymondville Picnic begins its annual run on Thursday [tonight].

The three-day event at the Raymondville Fairgrounds on Highway B features a variety of entertainment, food, a carnival midway and vendor booths. Parking is free. Bingo is planned each evening.

Here is the musical slate:

*7-11 p.m. Thursday – Jim Orchard and Friends.

*5 – 6:45 p.m. Friday – Gospel music – Third Cross Large Worship Band.

*7-11 p.m. Friday – Billie and the Rough Riders.

*5 – 6:45 p.m. Saturday – Gospel music – Inheritance Quartet.

*7-11 p.m. Saturday – Kevin Lee and Missouri Most Wanted.

On Saturday evening, the Route 63 Car Show is planned for the arena from 5 to 8 o’clock.

Bluff City Shows is providing this year’s midway entertainment. Armbands are available.
