Shirley Ann Loman, 66, daughter of Russell and Thelma Clinton Davis, was born March 10, 1941, in Douglas County. She died May 28, 2007.

She married Levern L. Loman Dec. 18, 1956. They had three sons and operated several businesses in the area over the years. The most well-known was Levern and Shirley’s.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years; and one brother, Basil Davis.

Surviving are her sons, Leon and Kevin of Cabool and Rick of Willow Springs; five sisters, Tillie Lowe of Willow Springs, Janice Eckelberry of Laquey, Leona Day of Mountain Grove and Bev Colburn and Sue Coonts of Cabool; two brothers, Charlie Davis of Mansfield and Bobby Joe Davis of Willow Springs; five grandsons and seven great-grandchildren.

Services were June 1 at the Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home Chapel with James Brown officiating. Burial was in the Jarrett Cemetery near Cabool.
